Colours Run are all Mancs, except for singer Tim Cameron, who used to live in Liverpool (a small fishing village near Manchester). They write and play music with genuine emotion and catchy hooks. "Could be, and should be, absolutely massive", say www.manchestermusic.co.uk, with "the sort of tunes you could imagine filling stadiums". Their current favourite venue is the Blue Cat Café in Stockport, which is not quite a stadium, but is nevertheless very nice and has a lovely bartender.
They've recently recorded an E.P. with George Williams (Babyshambles, The Alarm), the fruits of which can be heard on www.myspace.com/coloursrun, and have headlined many of Manchester's finest venues, including Night & Day and The Late Room.
Colours Run are currently listening to a lot of Elbow and Rufus Wainwright. Tim would very much like to meet Guy Garvey since he seems like a really sorted bloke who wears great scarves.
Please feel free to email the band at mail@coloursrun.com - we'd love to hear from you.
